CHRISTIANITY (Interests)

Always a challenging topic to discuss but far more challenging to live. Put away pre-conceived ideas and read the Bible to see that Christianity is not a matter of rules to obey. Unfortunately some think that you live by the Ten Commandments. Not so. They were given to show us that we cannot live up to God's standards.
Read the New Testament and this confirms that we are to accept what Jesus Christ did for us (Living, Dying, Rising) as the only way we gain acceptance and a close relationship with God.

As a result of understanding this we, out of love for Him, now work at following His example. The great thing is that it is not without some help - and who couldn't use it?  The Holy Spirit (perhaps best describe as both referee and coach) is given to help to us in the way we live.

Have a look at some of the Links to Christian sites or, better still, have a read of The Gospel of John or Matthew, Mark or Luke. I find the "Living Bible" is easy to read.
